Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. While I can assist with billing and claims, I am not a party to that contract, and it is your responsibility to understand what your plan does and does not cover.
As a courtesy, I am happy to:
Submit claims to your insurance company or third-party payer
Help answer questions related to coverage, when possible
However, please note:
I cannot guarantee coverage or payment from your insurance
Insurance companies may determine that certain services are not covered, or they may pay at a lower rate than expected
You are ultimately responsible for the full cost of services, including any uncovered amounts
Before Your First Appointment
To avoid surprises, please contact your insurance provider and ask the following:
Do I have mental health benefits?
What is my deductible, and has it been met?
How many therapy sessions are covered per calendar year?
Is Dr. Heather Bee an in-network provider on my plan?
What is my coverage for out-of-network providers, if applicable?
What is my co-payment or co-insurance amount per session?
Is preauthorization or referral required before I begin therapy?
Insurance Plans Accepted
I am currently an in-network provider for the following insurance plans:
Aetna
Medicare
Moda Health
PacificSource
Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon
This list may change over time. If I am not in-network with your plan, many insurers offer out-of-network benefits for mental health services, typically at a reduced coverage level. I am willing to submit claims for out-of-network services as well.
